ETL Sr Developer

• No OPT EAD eligible
• ETL Sr Developer specializes in the design and development of the ETL environment, processes, programs, and scripts to acquire data from source systems and apply the data to the tables in the database.
• This individual must have the skills necessary to understand the overall data warehouse architecture.
• The Sr Developer designs and builds the ETL environment with informatica and Teradata required by the client.
• The Sr Developer may also provide input to the database designer to optimize the data loading of the physical database.
• The Sr Developer Lead may be the Lead Consultant on a project

Skills :

• Ability to understand and document requirements
• Highly proficient in SQL, Teradata Bteq and utilities (TPT, MLOAD, FLOAD and FASTEXPORT)
• Highly proficient in Informatica
• Solid experience in analyzing query performance issues in Teradata
• Solid experience in Shell scripting in UNIX environment
• Excellent understanding of relational and dimensional data models
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaborative skills
• Nice to have Autosys experience
